Actions Taken by the Georgia State Board of Barbers at its June 8 Meeting
Macon, Ga.—The Georgia State Board of Barbers met on Monday, June 8, 2009.
The Board voted to deny two applications for licensure:
- William L. Thomas d/b/a Underestimated Swag, Stone Mountain: Barber Shop
- Barrington E. Buchanan, Jonesboro: Master Barber, reciprocity
The Board voted to accept payment to settle citations at the following establishments:
- K&T’s Barber Shop, Cataula
- Joe’s Look-Well, Columbus
- Unique Cuts, Columbus
- Blades II, Covington
- Kenny’s Barber Shop, Dublin
- Teasley Hair Improvement, Elberton
- The Shop Fayetteville, Fayetteville

- The Cutting Club, Stone Mountain
The Board voted to grant continuances in cases involving the following establishments:

The Board voted to uphold citations to the following establishments or individuals:
