Actions Taken by the Georgia Auctioneer Commission at its December 1 Meeting
Macon, Ga.—The Georgia Auctioneer Commission met on Monday, December 1, 2008.
The Board approved the following order to accept fine money for inspection violations and settling cases:
Tommy Ray Assiter, II of Amarillo, TX: $500 for failure to maintain licensure.
The Board also accepted a Final Decision Order on the following:
Perry’s Auto Auction, Swainsboro: Unlicensed practice.

The Commission appointed members Mark Manley of Moultrie and Uladia Taylor of Decatur to the applications review committee for the purpose of reviewing pending applications prior to regularly scheduled board meetings. Committee members will serve a one year appointment.
The Commission elected to change its 2009 regularly scheduled meetings to the third Monday of every other month, beginning with the month of February. Dates are as follows:

The Commission elected officers for 2009. Charles Gay of Rome was elected chairman, Mark Manley of Moultrie vice chairman, and Uladia Taylor of Decatur cognizant member.
The Georgia Auctioneer Commission will hold its next meeting on Monday, February 16, 2009 at 10:00 a.m. at the Professional Licensing Boards in Macon.
