Actions Taken by the Georgia Board of Architects and Interior Designers at its June 12 Meeting

Macon, Ga.—The Georgia Board of Architects and Interior Designers met on Friday, June 12, 2009.

The Board voted to ratify the issuance of five registered interior designer licenses, 17 registered architect licenses by examination, 31 registered architect licenses by reciprocity, and the reinstatement of 10 registered architect licenses since the Board’s last meeting.

The Board approved 11 applications for registered architect licensure by examination, three applications for an architectural license by reciprocity, one application for licensure as a registered interior designer, 10 applications for an architectural license to be placed on inactive status and one application for an interior designer license to be placed on inactive status.

The Board approved the renewal of nine registered architect licenses and one registered interior designer license.  The Board denied the renewal of two registered architect licenses.

The Georgia State Board of Architects and Interior Designers will hold its next meeting on Friday, August 21, 2009 at 9:30 a.m. at the Professional Licensing Boards Division in Macon, Georgia.
