Any person who adopts and uses a mark in Georgia may file an application for registration of the mark in the office of the Secretary of State. If the statutory requirements have been met, the Secretary of State will issue a certificate of registration. Our Web site also provides forms and instructions for the initial registration, renewal and assignment of trademarks.
