Requirement: To establish and maintain such records, make such reports, and provide such information as the Georgia Safety Fire Commissioner or the federal Secretary of Housing and Urban Development may reasonably require in order to be able to determine whether the manufacturer, distributor, or dealer has acted or is acting in compliance with O.C.G.A. Title 8, Chapter 2, Article 2, Part 2 or with the National Manufactured Housing Construction and Safety Standards Act of 1974 (42 U.S.C. Section 5401, et seq.).
Persons Affected: Each manufacturer, distributor, and dealer of manufactured homes.

Pesticides in Public Buildings

Citation: O.C.G.A. 8-7-1 Requiring Building Operators of Public Buildings who applies, uses, or who contracts any pesticides for the interior of the building to keep records of such use.
Regulating Agency: All state agencies.
Requirement: The Building Operator of any Public Building who uses, contracts for, or orders the application within the interior of any public building of any pesticide shall retain for five years all material safety data sheets and other documents if additional pesticides are used after the contract for service is entered. Further, a building operator shall retain statements of information for two years as required by the " Structural Pest Control Act."
Persons Affected: All Building Operators of any Public Buildings.
Retention Period: Material safety data sheets for five years; Statements of information for two years.
