GHRAB / NHPRC Partnership
The National Historical Publications and Records Commission (NHPRC) makes grants nationwide to help identify, preserve, and provide public access to records, photographs, and other materials that document American history. The grants go to state and local archives, colleges and universities, libraries, historical societies, and other nonprofit organizations throughout the U.S. Potential applicants are encouraged (but are not required) to contact GHRAB in the early stages of preparing their NHPRC grant drafts, for advice and assistance in developing a competitive proposal for the NHPRC's national-level review process.
MARCH 15 - Deadline to submit draft application to GHRAB (June 1 is deadline to submit application to NHPRC)
JULY 15 - Deadline to submit draft application to GHRAB (October 1 is deadline to submit application to NHPRC)
